If activity-based holidays are your thing, then you will be in your element. North Devon is a World Surfing Reserve with some of the best surfing beaches in the UK and when the surf isn’t ‘pumping’ then there’s nothing better than exploring the beautiful coastline on a paddleboard. There are an abundance of great walks throughout the region, including the South West Coast path, which stretches for over 90 miles between Hartland to Exmoor, and the Tarka Trail, which provides a 180-mile walking and cycle trail to explore the region.
